Welcome to the Microbicide Research and Development Database (MRDD)
The MRDD is a comprehensive source of information on microbicide candidate products, clinical trials, and supportive research.
The MRDD was developed and maintained by the Alliance for Microbicide Development (AMD) until its closing at the end of 2009.
AVAC has relaunched the MRDD and is expanding the database to include information on the range of biomedical HIV prevention research options. Updates are ongoing so please check back regularly.
Over its 12 years of existence, the Alliance generated many important resources that are being integrated into an expanded collaboration with AVAC. AVAC will continue to provide these resources, including the
Microbicide Research and Development Database (MRDD) and the
Clinical Trial Site Capacity Database.
